OLD SCHOOL HOUSE DAYS FOR CHILDREN!

This event will take place at the Arkport Public Library, 2 East Avenue, on Sunday, October 12, noon - 2pm. Katie Karns and Sally Schmitt are planning a schoolhouse experience for children. Come and view the McCarthy House while your children enjoy "old school days!"

Steuben County Museum Trail 2025

 WHAT IS THE EVENT?
Are you wanting to do something fun this Columbus Day weekend? The Steuben County Museum trail has lots of fun activities and museums available for your enjoyment. This year we have 20 museums around Steuben County who are participating in a two-day long "open house" where members of the public are encouraged to visit any/all museums in our county.

Our theme this year is Schoolhouses and Education! A few of the museums, this year, have opted to open up their schoolhouses in support of this year's theme! There will be historical games, activities, and learning lessons from the schoolhouse years available!

How Do I Know Where to Go? Don't fret, we have a Museum Trail 2025 Map, featuring addresses to each location!
