Mission Statement

Under our original Constitution in 1895 it  states "The purpose of this Society shall be the collection and preservation of Historical Knowledge to the territory known as the Canisteo Valley in the Country of Steuben, State of New York, and in doing so promote the better understanding and appreciation of our American heritage."
